Although 2009 statistics are not available yet, 2008 numbers rank liposuction the second most popular procedure for women and the number one most popular procedure for men. 341,144 people underwent liposuction surgery according to The Amercian
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (www.surgery.org).
